There is much to be thankful for as we break bread in this little family.
We are fortunate to have been born in Canada.
We are fortunate to have found one another to live out our lives in harmony and love together.
The land where we live provides us with a plenitude of grains, fruits, vegetables. Those who farm, we are indebted to them.
We treasure the forests and the lakes, the prairies and the mountains, the oceans and the islands of peace that make up this country of Canada.
We are grateful for the children we have raised to live their lives as they have seen fit.
And we make the most of the company provided to us in the presence of two little dogs dependent upon us for their sustenance just as we depend on them for their companionship.
We are fortunate in the good neighbours we have, and we hope they feel similarly toward us.
What more could people ask for?
